Professor Jonathan Jansen’s horizons were always shaped by circumstance. He admits when he was in high school, he didn’t even know how to spell the word university. Through a series of ‘happy accidents’ he ended up as a top student at Cornell and Stanford.
He maintains the values instilled in him in childhood – respect, manners and perspective – have been key to his success. And that his duty is to tirelessly give back.
