Racism shows its ugly head again... This time on minors

Panyaza Lesufi, Gauteng Education MEC, says he is deeply disappointed and disgusted about the latest racism incident involving minors.

A crèche in Centurion, Koeitjies en Kalfies Kleuterskool, came under severe public criticism for allegedly segregating a black child from her white classmates.

A picture showing what appears to be a little black girl being segregated from the rest of the class has gone viral viral.

It shows her sitting alone at a different table to the white children.

The 19-month-old has since been removed from the school.

Lesufi says he was disgusted to find that all teachers at the school are white and that the medium language of instruction is Afrikaans.

South Africans must learn that children can learn and play together, black or white.

Panyaza Lesufi, Gauteng Education MEC.
