Man in public love affair with Dragon Ball Z's Android 18 - and it's complicated

It's not official, until it's Facebook official.

Photographer and videographer, Kay Webster, has taken to social media to publicly declare his love for Android 18, a fictional character from the animated series Dragon Ball Z.

Webster has taken his relationship status to a whole other level, and has created a special Facebook account devoted to their whirlwind romance.

The page, Android18isbae, documents the daily activities of the so-called power couple, Webster explains.

We are in a relationship. I've been in love with Android 18 ever since I was young. It's only now that I get to express my love for her.

He says that his obsession with Android 18 has caused tensions in his relationship with his human girlfriend.

It's not your average love story, and the page has received "mega" reactions, encouraging him to develop a narrative plot around their relationship.
