The Royal House of Mandela has called on the Independent Elections Commission (IEC) to take action against the Democratic Alliance's online elections advertisement.
The family has accused the DA of abusing the former president Nelson Mandela's name, where his voice is heard.
In the statement, the family calls for the party to immediately withdraw their advert as it allegedly violates the Electoral Code.
The DA hopes for significant victories in Nelson Mandela Bay, Tshwane and Johannesburg at the local government elections on August 3, 2016.
