This week I have been playing with the Huawei P9 - the newest flagship device from the China’s number 1 smartphone maker. The latest smartphone features an all metal design, 5.2 inch screen with a strong focus on photography. The P9 is superb and takes fantastic photographs thanks to the partnership with German legendary lens manufacturer Leica.

The dual-lens camera allows more lights into the lens for better clarity, for rich photos and videos. There are two sensors, one RGB and one monochrome. The Huawei P9’s merging algorithm intelligently combines the colours taken by the RGB sensor with the detail of the monochrome sensor. The new Huawei phone is really well built, has a great battery and styled beautifully Coming in at a price point of R12 000 will challenge the premium market in value.

The point of giving third-party apps write access to your Twitter account is to make it easy to tweet about the stuff you do on these apps: For example, tweeting that you’re listening to Justin Bieber on Spotify, or that you posted a picture of your dog on Instagram, or that you unfollowed 1,000 people in the previous week. It’s supposed to make Twitter faster, more dynamic, and more open.
