Zuma leads ANC campaign trail in Hammanskraal

President Jacob Zuma is leading the ANC's campaign visit to Hammanskraal and Attridgeville, following the violent protests that hit Tshwane two weeks ago.

Violence erupted after Thoko Didiza was announced as the ANC's mayoral candidate in the capital.

Zuma is now conducting a door-to-door campaign in the area, where many ANC supporters are waiting for him to address them.

Despite the remaining divisions in the area, EWN's Clement Manyathela says that there is warm reception and sense of excitement within the community.

They say they are looking forward to the President's address and happy that he could take the time to come visit the capital.
