A dignified burial vs the cost

Professor Sihawu Ngubane, Head of African Languages at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, spoke about the importance of a dignified burial in African culture versus the cost.

In 2013 on an average Saturday, there are 80 to 90 funerals held at Avalon Cemetery in Soweto.

Ngubane says it’s important for people to get a dignified funeral.
