Walter Lindner is the German ambassador to South Africa. But there is more to his life than diplomacy. He is an active musician, music arranger and producer with several CDs on the market.

Having majored in music at university, Lindner is passionate about African tunes.

Lindner previously served as the spokesperson of the German Foreign Minister, Germany’s Ambassador to Kenya, director for Sub-Saharan Africa in the German Foreign Office and until recently as the Special Representative of Chancellor Merkel for the Ebola Crisis.

And this man of many talents is multilingual! Other than German, he speaks English, French, Spanish, Turkish fluently.
