This week on The Book Show, Jenny Crwys-Williams chats to Redi Tlhabi about biographies and memoirs, a genre that has always been in the bestseller category.

She talks to John Berks about his biography written by Robin Bickes, has a conversation with South African actress Louise Sinclair about the iconic Maggie Smith, and finally chats to Redi Tlhabi about The Fordsburg Fighter, the first Indian to every join MK, Amin Cajee.

John Berks was one of the founders of talk radio in South Africa. His influence still affects us, and people remember his long career with a mixture of awe and nostalgia. And he was in right at the beginning of Radio 702. What a Boykie is the story of his life, and he joins Jenny Crwys-Williams in studio to talk about it.
