Wife of Donald Trump, Melania Trump, has been accused of plagiarising a speech by First Lady, Michelle Obama.

The former-beauty queen's speech was delivered at a convention which would determine the Republican party's candidate for the United State's presidency. The original speech was made by Obama in 2008.

In response to the furore, the Republican front-runner for the most powerful position in the world tweeted that he was 'very proud' of his wife. A statement was later published regarding the matter.
