Quintessential Cape Town: LadyBee Buffet Diner home to traditional Cape dishes

Founded in 1982, LadyBee Buffet Diner is home to traditional Cape dishes. The diner is well known for serving a superb meat salomie (roti).

A major appeal for its customers is their buffet option which allows customers to dish-up as much or as little as they desire from their vast range of Halaal & vegetarian traditional Cape dishes.

Speaking to CapeTalk Kieno Kammies, owner Ishtiaq Badoorien says they are first diner to sell food by weight.

They provide services for corporate and private functions and have stores in Viking Park (Epping), Westgate Mall in Mitchells Plain, Zeevenwacht Mall in Kuils River, Kromboom Road in Crawford, and St Peters Square in Main Road, Observatory.
