Solms-Delta farmworkers bucking the trend in transformation

Delta farm, located in the Western Cape, has introduced measures that will see the establishment continue to transform land ownership.

702/Cape Talk's #FridayStandIn, Mark Solms, delved into the challenges he encountered in his venture into farming and how he introduced a new way of doing things as well as the benefits received once they established a good working relationship with the farm owners.

Listen to the conversation below:

Sanna Malgas, who started working for Solms as a domestic worker, said she appreciated the fact that there was a trust that was formed, detailing how they would benefit from being employees of Solms-Delta.

They decided that they want to give our children education, we also have medical aid because a lot of our families died because they couldn't afford some expenses.
