Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane has unveiled the opposition party's latest campaign poster outside the Union Buildings in Johannesburg, ahead of local government elections.
This comes just weeks after the party broadcast a controversial television advert using Nelson Mandela's name and voice over.
Maimane maintained that the party is unapologetic about using Mandela in its election campaign, reports EWN's Clement Manyathela.
He believes that its only the DA that is keeping Madiba's values alive - not the ANC or EFF... He says that they believe in the values of Nelson Mandela.— Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter
On the DA campaign trial, Maimane also commended former president Thabo Mbeki from seemingly abstaining from campaigning for the ANC.
