"Eugene de Kock: tortured by his past" - former TRC Councillor

Pippa Hudson spoke to Dr Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela about the release of Eugene de Kock on parole.

Gobodo-Madikizela served on the TRC, interviewed de Kock numerous times for her book 'A Human Being Died That Night' and is a senior research professor in trauma, memory and forgiveness at the University of the Free State.

Speaking to Pippa, Gobodo-Madikizela said Eugene de Kock "was a man tortured by his past and feeling remorseful for it".
