CapeTalk Small Business Awards

Tired of dodgy online classifieds? FlipSell provides safe convenient sales - SBA

Click here to reward a small business that provides great service with a nomination for 2016's Small Business Awards with CapeTalk and Sage One.

FlipSell is an advanced platform for buying and selling pre-owned goods which facilitates safe and seamless payments and deliveries across Cape Town.

Goods are traded without the need to physically meet or interact, therefore providing privacy and security unrivaled by the mainstream online classifieds websites.

Nominator Dexter Tangocci says that FlipSell eliminates the frustration involved in buying second-hand goods online by posing as a middle-man to facilitate transactions, insurance and couriers services.

Tangocci says other online competitors have been fraught with fraudulent transactions and advertising scams.

FlipSell co-founder Anree Malherbe explains that the purpose of the platform is to create a convenient service offering.

He says the one-year-old company is gaining exposure and growing its user base by the day.

We're just really trying to make customer's lives easier, save time, and protect people. Safety and convenience is our message.

Anree Malherbe, FlipSell co-founder
