Sports Hub Coaching has been nominated for 702 Small Business Awards with Sage One.

Sports Hub Coaching offers a foundation Phase Sports coaching program, putting together six popular school sports (TAG rugby, Netbal, Soccer, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis) to develop young future player's confidence to become competent sports players.

Sports Hub currently currently has a presence in 35 schools all over Cape Town and a team of skilled 13 coaches.

Owner Henk Oosthuizen coached learners in the foundation phase for over 20 years before he started Sports Hub two years ago. He says the foundation phase is a crucial time for learners to develop and enhance their skills, which they will need at a later stage in their sporting careers.

Many kinds of schools, their resources are geared towards under 13's and there is less focus on the foundation phase

Henk Oosthuizen, Owner

The coaching is done in a environment where the kids are enjoying and having fun, says Oosthuizen. At the same time the learners learn very important aspects like how to hold the bat and how to dribble a ball.

If they don't enjoy we wont have a business
