Domestly app takes hassle out of finding professional housekeepers

Click here to reward a small business that provides great service with a nomination for 2016's Small Business Awards with CapeTalk and Sage One.

Domestly is a professional cleaning service that conveniently allows home-owners to book available housekeepers in their vicinity.

The website and app lists a database of professional housekeepers, with their full profiles, references and schedule.

Nominator Anthony Franchitti says that Domestly has taken the hassle out of finding reliable help and has a friendly customer service department.

Domestly founder Berno Potgieter says that the young platform has created 600 sustainable jobs across, Cape Town and Johannesburg, in the last six months.

He explains that the business thoroughly vetts all potential employers, conducts interviews and training.

Once a housekeeper is listed on the platform, clients can match their needs according to their location, types of cleaning services and frequency of bookings.

Cleaners are allowed to set their own rates according to their experiences.
