Firecracker events company lights a fuse for clients' marketing needs

Click here to reward a small business that provides great service with a nomination for 2016's Small Business Awards with CapeTalk and Sage One.

Nicola Probyn and Claire Alexander formed Firecracker, an integrated events and marketing company offering world class event management, marketing and graphic design under one roof, in 2012.

They have been going strong for four years, and the company was nominated for the CapeTalk Small Business Awards with Sage One.

Probyn says their aim was to offer high quality professional service to companies that could not afford high agency fees.

We really pride ourselves on being able to deliver to that standard, by being affordable.

Nicola Probyn, Firecracker Integrated Events and Marketing

They started small but are growing rapidly she says.

We really are able to compete with the larger agencies because we have grown organically and through word of mouth.

Nicola Probyn, Firecracker Integrated Events and Marketing

Probyn says now they have large corporates and international NGOs as clients.

They offer consistent excellent service where they take their client's business as seriously as their own, she adds. It's an owner run business and so it is their passion.

The 'one-stop shop' integrated approach means clients can get all their services under one roof which is more efficient in terms of time and money.
