Sage International is the parent of Sage One, maker of accounting and payroll software and sponsor of the annual 702/CapeTalk Small Business Awards.

Ivan Epstein cofounded Softline Group (former name of Sage South Africa) in 1988.

Softline Group listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 1997.

Sage International employs around 14 000 people.

Epstein received the Ernst and Young “South Africa’s Best Entrepreneur” award in 1999/2000.
