CapeTalk Small Business Awards

Fix Forward create opportunities for tradesmen from poor areas to grow

Click here to reward a small business that provides great service with a nomination for 2016's Small Business Awards with CapeTalk and Sage One.

Fix Forward was nominated in the CapeTalk Small Business Awards with Sage One by Nicky West. She says they approached the company to do a small roofing job and she says the service and quality of work was excellent.

Joshua Cox owner of Fix Forward explains that they are an online market place that makes it easy for people to find reliable tradesmen.

They handpick tradesmen like painters and carpenters, from low income areas like townships and the Cape flats, to give them a boost.

People who are able to provide a very high quality service, but lack the skills and resources to access the market. So we connect people to the tradesmen in our programme.

They also run an entrepreneurship programme which includes business skills training, life skills coaching and mentorship

Our mission is to create opportunities for tradesmen from these areas to realise their potential to grow successful businesses, that change their lives, and help them to employ others in their community as well.
