Help make this domestic worker's restaurant dream come true

Lusanda Maqoqa is a 28 year old domestic worker in Cape Town. But she doesn’t believe that it’s her destiny - she wants to create jobs, and a stable future for her family. She says she is business-driven, and was born with a passion for making people happy. The best way to do that is with food.

Many years ago Lulu had the vision to open her own eatery. She has worked towards making it happen. She has found the perfect spot, with high foot traffic from surrounding businesses, schools, and taxi ranks. She has restaurant experience, and potential access to a well-equipped, secure container-kitchen. Lulu needs our help to unlock this opportunity.

Lulu's will be a place friends and family can sit down, enjoy some good local food, and have a good time. It will also cater to employees, customers, school children, and the many other passers-by in the area with quick, affordable takeaway lunches. Lulu's will bring people together, offering them a space to relax at the end of a long day!
