Literature corner: Niq Mhlongo Vs Rebecca Davis

Two South African authors, Niq Mhlongo and Rebecca Davis, battled it out on literature corner as presenter Eusebius Mackaiser grilled them with questions about South African publications.

Rebecca Davis won the battle by answering 10 question correct while Niq Mhlongo answered 7 right.

Both writers failed to give correct answers on books they wrote. Rebecca Davis failed to answer who the writer of 'After Tears' is. The book After Tears was written by Niq Mhlongo in 2007 which paints a broad picture of South African life post Apartheid and the many challenges faced in a rapidly changing environment.

Niq Mhlongo also failed to answer correctly who the author of 'Best White And Other Anxious Delusions' is. This is a book written by Rebecca Davis, published last year. In the book, Davis tackles a range of issues like being a "Best White", social media complexities and other interesting topics.
