Trailrunner raising funds for Red Cross Children's Hospital

Linda Doke is an experienced trail runner. She is running the gruelling Tor des Géants in the Italian Alps.

The race is 330km which must be completed in 150 hours and the completion rate sits at 60%.

Using this race, Linda is going to be raising funds for the Breatheasy Programme at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town, an initiative that helps young kids who've undergone a tracheostomy and are on artificial ventilation, be able to be taken care of at home.

CapeTalk's John Maytham spoke to Linda Doke about her upcoming adventure.
