Improve Your Life: The art of braaing with Jan Braai

September 24 is National Braai day in South Africa. The National Braai Tour kicks off two weeks prior to September 24 to get South Africans in a braaing mood.

Jan Braai initiated the tour three years ago, where he and his crew travel around the country meeting other South Africans and braai 3 times a day for two weeks.

It is not a rally or a competition, it is really just people from all walks of life who loves their country and drive through it with us. We braai 3 times a day and everybody gets a South African flag to wave as we go through the country.

Jan Braai, Braaier

Jan received calls from CapeTalk listeners who wanted to know about the National Braai Tour and braaing etiquettes. He shared tips on braaing and explained some of the activities that goes into the tour.

Tim Thabethe from KFM will be joining Jan and crew on the National Braai tour.
