UPDATE: Gay-bashing US pastor banned from entering SA

South Africans have expressed outrage at comments by US pastor, Steven Anderson, who promotes anti-homosexuality in his teachings and recently launched an attack on Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

The leader of Faith Word Baptist Church is scheduled to visit a church in Kempton Park on an evangelical campaign in September. He is scheduled to visit Botswana before arriving in South Africa.

Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba is scheduled to hold a press conference on Tuesday to address the status on whether he will be allowed to enter South Africa.
