Philander, The Beast & Pocock on the #SportsInjuryList - 22 February 2015

Will Vernon swing back & can the Beast try again in 6 weeks?

Protea Vernon Philander has a left hamstring injury which could see him out for the entire Cricket World Cup, unless Proteas make it to the final there's little chance of him swinging back in time. Rugby sees The Beast Mtawarira out for about 6 weeks. Some of the casualties include Real Madrid's Luka Modric and Brumbies' David Pocock.

Dr Zac Van Heerden and Marc Lewis also look at the impact of age on injuries.
