South African GDP increased by 4.1 percent in Q4/2014 – Stats SA

South Africa’s GDP grew by 4.1 percent in the last quarter of 2014, according to Statistics SA.

The economy grew by a revised 2.1 percent in the third quarter.

The median forecast for the last three months of 2014 of 20 economists interviewed by Bloomberg was 3.8 percent.

The economy grew 1.5 percent in 2014, the slowest pace since the 2009 recession.
