The body of a 21-year-old man who drowned at the Rocking the Daisies festival near Darling was found over the weekend.
The man, who was a Zimbabwean national, worked for one of the festival’s suppliers.
Rocking the Daisies organisers took to Facebook to express their deep sadness following the drowning of a staff member.
The man was reported missing on Friday, after being spotted at a large dam near Cloof Wine Estate, where the music festival took place.
A police dive unit searched for him on Friday, but suspended operations after it became too dark.
His body was retrieved on Saturday morning, and festival management has extended its condolences to the man’s family on Facebook.
