The trial of the men accused of murdering school teacher Jayde Panayiotou will resume in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Tuesday.
Panayiotou was kidnapped from outside her Port Elizabeth home on April 21 2015 while waiting for a friend to pick her up. She was found dead a few days later.
Her husband Christopher Panayiotou and his two co-accused, Sinethemba Nenembe and Zolani Sibeko face a number of charges including conspiracy to commit murder.
EWN reporter Shamiela Fisher says the State will rely heavily on Luthando Siyoni's testimony to try and prove his claim that he was hired as a middle man by Christopher Panayiotou to recruit men to kill his wife because she was a financial burden.
There are several witnesses that will be called this period but the evidence that they will rely heavily on is cell phone plotting...— Shamiela Fisher, EWN reporter
