LIVE: Madonsela's last press conference from Pretoria

Advocate Thuli Madonsela holds her last press conference from Pretoria as the Public Protector this afternoon.

Her report on state capture was expected to be released on her last day on office, however, after taking legal advice she decided to not to after President Jacob Zuma and Minister Des van Rooyen applied for urgent interdicts against her doing so.

It's unclear whether her successor, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, will make the preliminary report public.
