Young Entrepreneur starts fashion business

We received an email from Alexander McLeod last week, alerting us to an amazing young girl, Nuzhah Jacobs. She is a Grade 12 learner from Rustenberg Girls, and she has a passion for fashion.

She was on Alexander’s School Entrepreneurship Programme last year and started a business called The Ramp.

Alexander wrote to us about Nuzhah: “She is an amazing young entrepreneur, last year she generated sales of around R15 000 within three months while completing my programme and her business has gone from strength to strength. Her latest success story is that she has just secured a deal to have her brand and product featured and listed on Zando - SA’s biggest online fashion platform for online shopping. It will be an inspiring interview.”

Kieno spoke to Nuzhah about her business and she says she is already at a stage where she can start employing others.
