Gordhan charges have forced ANC members off the fence - Stephen Grootes

ANC chief whip Jackson Mthembu caused a stir over the weekend when he came out and called for the entire NEC to resign. Factional swords have been drawn, with ANC members coming out on either side.

Jackson Mthembu is the first high level serving ANC member to come out and say NEC and Zuma must go.

Grootes believes the charges against Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan have forced ANC members off the fence.
