Mom-to-be airlifted out of Noordhoek fire to give birth

Duane found himself trapped in the south peninsula yesterday on the same day his wife was due to give birth in the city.

A plea on social media for advice resulted in a local helicopter charter company helping out – with a healthy baby born later in the afternoon.

He spoke to John about the dramatic turn of events, describing it as a very "Brad and Angelina" event!
