Parents ignore child car seat law - Wheel Well

Peggy Mars, founder of Wheel Well, says many parents still ignore the importance of strapping children into cars and it's illegal.

Despite the fact that it is now illegal not to put a child in a car seat, many people are still not adhering to the law. This is according to a report by Automobile Association (AA).

Peggy Mars, founder of non-profit organisation, Wheel Well says people seem unaware of how important car seats and the extent they can save a child's life during an accident.

I know how unaffordable car seats are to parents ... but it is so vital that parents have car a seat in their car.

Mars says parents should go to every length to ensure they have one. She says it is frightening how extensive the non-compliance of using child car seats still is.
