Whatsapp is the safest messaging app - study

Research by Amnesty International has revealed that messaging service Whatsapp is more secure than other services such as Snapchat, Telegram and Microsoft's Skype.

World Wide Worx managing director, Arthur Goldstuck, says Whatsapp prioritise security and privacy of users.

Amensty says WhatsApp is the only app where users are explicitly warned when end-to-end encryption is not applied to a particular chat.

They ask a basic question, which company can read your private messages? Automatically all your communication is encrypted the moment it leaves your fingers and they can't read it. It's only the person on the other side.
