LIVESTREAM: NPA drops fraud charges against Gordhan, Magashula and Pillay.

South Africans will learn whether the National Prosecuting Authory (NPA) will indeed take action against Pravin Gordhan, Oupa Magashulaand Ivan Pillay.

The announcement is currently underway by National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), Shaun Abrahams at a press briefing.

The NPA laid a charge of fraud against the finance minister in relation to an early retirement payment to former SARS (South African Revenue Services) Commissioner, Ivan Pillay.

The charge has been viewed as an attempt to undermine Gordhan amid his murmurs that high-ranking politicians are captured by the Gupta family.
