South Africans on Twitter have been tearing NPA boss Shaun Abrahams to shreds after making an about turn on plans to prosecute Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and two former senior Sars officials.
Abrahams held a press briefing on Monday morning to announce that fraud charges against Gordhan, Oupa Magashula and Ivan Pillay have been dropped.
But some of the public have called into question the integrity of Abrahams and the NPA, even suggesting that he should resign.
Abrahams told the media that he sees no need to apologise for what many believe was a major blunder with drastic economic consequences.
Tweeps have taken to social media to vent their frustration and throw some major shade.
