National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has applied the new online application model for students to apply directly to NSFAS.
EWN reporter Thando Kubheka says NSFAS has raised concerns about the low number of matriculants applying for 2017 funding and invites deserving student to apply before November 30.
Forms will be made available to students who do not have access to the internet.
Kubheka says NSFAS also announced that it has supported about 480 000 economically disadvantaged students in 2015.
NSFAS will now receive applications directly from students and then communicate the outcome on whether they have made it or not directly to them.— Thando Kubheka, EWN reporter
