ACSA CEO faces suspension, allegedly never involved in tendering process

Dominic Ntsele, Communications Strategist says he cancelled his overseas trip when he heard the news that Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) chief executive officer, Bongani Maseko received a pre-suspension notice.

Ntsele is adamant that since Maseko joined ACSA as acting CEO and then as CEO, he has never been involved in any tendering process.

According to the reports, Maseko will go through a disciplinary process for allegedly violating supply chain management regulations.

I cancelled my plans, I called him and asked him about the allegations and I followed this through.

He started receiving SMS's from journalists asking him about the contents of a report and he had no sight of the report... he had been denied the report.

Ntsele says till this day Maseko hasnt seen this forensic report that everyone is talking about.

He says he gave the document to experts on forensic reports and they described it as a "desktop report". Dr Ncube of Ncube Consulting was responsible for the report, according to Ntsele.
