Eskom disputes Madonsela's findings

Eskom's press conference is in its second day in Johannesburg, and continues to addressthe contents of a report on allegations of state capture by former public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

Eskom CEO Brian Molefe broke into tears on day one of the conference while answering questions on the report.

EWN's Gia Niccolaides reports from the parastatal's headquarters at Megawatt Park.

They completely dispute Thuli Madonsela's findings and they went through a lot of allegations in the report. They went through this controversial deal between Eskom and Tegeta and the pre-payment of more than R6 million.

Eskom says it was not the first time they have used the pre-payment mechanism and have done so in desperate situations in the past.
