Zuma lodges complaint over leaked state capture report audio

President Jacob Zuma has lodged a formal complaint with the Public Protector's office over a leaked audio recording of his interview with Thuli Madonsela.

The recording was part of the former public protector's investigation into allegations of state capture.

The Sate of Capture report was eventually released last week, and a leaked interview recording landed in the hands of television broadcaster eNCA.

Now the Presidency wants clarity from the Office of the Public Protector on its policy regarding the release of audio recordings of its interviews.
