Quintessential Cape Town: Organic skin care products

‘Hey Gorgeous’ is a locally produced range of skincare products that’s enjoy national and international popularity.

Owner, Phoebe Williams, spoke to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies about where this business started and its operations.

Williams is a cosmetic scientist and was inspired by products produced by The Body Shop and the use of natural ingredients.

We wanted a beauty house that was by women for real women, nothing hidden, very transparent brilliant staff that me you feel like a million dollars without costing you a million dollars.

Phoebe Williams, owner of Hey Gorgeous

What sets their products apart is the fact that it's all organic and fresh, says Williams. She says unlike other products in the market, their products don't sit on the shelves for more that two weeks.

All their products are locally produced at their labs in Constantia.

There is no one-size fits all type of skin, so we custom make to suit all skin goals.
