Interest in brand South Africa from abroad

Jonathan Cherry was in Australia recently and noticed that there were a number of cars with Epic-branded surfskis mounted on car roofs. The brand came out of Durban and was started by world famous Oscar Chalupsky. Jonathan says it is just one example where a famous person or product has helped in maintaining South Africa's presence being felt around the world.

There are many examples of this happening all the time, Elon Musk, Charlize Theron, Princess Charlene of Monaco, District 9 the movie, Nando's fast foods... and the latest addition to the list is comedian Trevor Noah, who will be replacing Jon Stewart on the Daily Show.
