Estranged Zuma wife seeking clarity on charges in alleged poison plot

Attorney Ulrich Roux who is representing MaNtuli Zuma, the estranged wife of President Jacob Zuma, says the behaviour of National Prosecuting head, Shaun Abrahams, leaves much to be desired.

This after Roux claims attempts to get clarity on the charges his client is facing have gone unanswered.

Questions from the NPA were sent to my client, but they were very vague and dealt with her whereabouts and why she's in contact with people close to the President.

Ulrich Roux, BDK Attorneys

Roux explained that she was told in January last year to leave the Nkandla homestead and she was charged in May, 2016. We replied to questions in an affidavit but have since not heard from the Hawks and NPA.

We have no knowledge of any plot or so called plot to kill the President.

Ulrich Roux, BDK Attorneys

Roux told Midday Report's Stephen Grootes that his client has the right to bring this matter to finality. The NPA is dragging it's feet and not providing us with information we're entitled to. Listen here:
