Middelburg Magistrates Court has postponed the case against Willem Oosthuizen and Theo Martins Jackson who allegedly forced a black man into a coffin until 25 January.
Oosthuizen and Jackson are charged with kidnapping and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
In a video circulating on social media, one of the men is seen forcing Victor Rethabile Mlotshwa into a coffin and threatening to set him alight.

The two men have abandoned their bail application.
Mlotshwa briefly spoke to Economic Freedom Fighters and African National Congress supporters who were there to support him. He said he is happy that he is alive, but he is still traumatised.
