The ANC’s provincial executive committee (PEC) has come out strongly against suspended chairperson Marius Fransman.
Fransman has been suspended for five years after being found guilty on two counts of misconduct, but said he would challenge the suspension.
He's has been embroiled in a political storm after former employee Louisa Wynand accused him of sexual assault.
Fransman has been vocal to the media about this and has been publicly criticising the party and it's senior members.
He basically called the decision disgraceful and unjust.— Xolani Koyana, EWN reporter
Fransman was suspended on 10 November, but has the option to appeal - within 21 days of the announcement.
