WATCH: Zuma's last grilling session in Parliament for 2016

President Jacob Zuma will answer tough questions from MP's in his last Q&A session for the year in the National Assembly on this afternoon.

Questions on the order paper include one about the Public Protector's state capture report and the efforts by two Cabinet ministers to interdict it.

DA leader Mmusi Maimane wants to know if Zuma ordered ministers Mosebenzi Zwane and Des van Rooyen to apply for an interdict to stop the release of the report.

EWN parliamentary reporter, Gaye Davis says Maimane's question is the last one on the order paper which has six questions.

Every question is allowed four follow up questions from MP's.

UDM leader Bantu Holomisa will also ask the President if he has applied his mind to the urgent request by Zwane to set up an inter-ministerial committee that will look into why the banks closed bank accounts belonging to the Gupta family’s Oakbay Investments.

The ACDP wants to know from the President whether enough is being done to avoid a possible downgrade by the rating agencies currently in the country.

At the same time, the DA has asked speaker Baleka Mbete to recuse herself from presiding over this afternoon’s session.

_Here is the full order paper for today's proceedings.
