Popular soapie is switching channels

SABC is moving its highest-rated soapie Generations The Legacy to SABC 3 in January due to the African Cup of Nations coverage on SABC 1.

Mzansi's second most watched show has always aired on SABC 1 and in the past would at times be moved to a different time slot or onto SABC 2 in an event when something else needs to be covered.

Entertainment reporter, Tinashe Venge, says many people won't be able to watch the show because their televisions cannot receive SABC3.

I don't know why the SABC would not move Generations to SABC 2 or move it to later or do something else.
