Odds stacked against Boks

The game between the Springboks and All Blacks will take centre stage this weekend.

Rugby expert Jan Dekoning says he's betting his money on the New Zealand side who happen to be ranked the top team in the world.

Dekoning says that he'll be surprised if the All Blacks don't put 50 points past the Springboks during the Saturday game.

Like most South Africans, I'm rather pessimistic at the moment. The Springboks haven't inspired this year.

While Bok captain Adriaan Strauss is hopeful, Dekoning says that the men will have to be at their best from the first whistle in order to prove him wrong.

It will take a lot of energy and determination. They will have to be in the All Blacks' faces for 80 minutes.

The All Blacks have won all of their rugby championship matches so far, while the Boks have faced two defeats and only one victory.

A loss for the Boks will effectively hand the New Zealand the rugby championship title.

The game kicks off is at 9.35 am South African time.
