Lawyer representing Hlaudi Motsoeneng says the SABC and Hlaudi Motsoeneng have a right to appeal the Western Cape High Court which ruled Motsoeneng's job invalid.

Judge Owen Rogers said Motsoneng should be removed from his position as the group executive of corporate affairs at SABC.

It's up to the employer, the SABC, to decide whether or not they are going to abide by the court decision or want to take to appeal, which they are entitled to, so is my client.
